"The engine has a miss to it at 2000+ rpms. A mechanics has checked the coils, plugs, voltage, all OK. He told me the number 3 plug is clean and th e3 other plugs are burning fine. He advised me the #3 cylinder is getting flooded with fuel. Any ideas?"

Check the fuel pump hook up. I

Check the fuel pump hook up. If it is on #3- the diaphragm is pin holed.

Also you might want to post under "Chrysler outboards" as that has a lot of dedicated Chrysler/Force people with lots of good info.

Mercury people don't want to hear about Force problems--go figure.
