I have a Mercury 4 HP OB and I need the starter sheave pawl for the recoil starter. It is a small, oblong, plastic piece that extends when pulling the starter rope, and then locks in the flywheel during the pull. It is shreaded (no longer catches the flyweel) and this part (Mercury Part 16096) is appraently no longer manufactured. Any ideas on where to get a few since I hate using the "emergency" pull rope. It is simple enough that I am thinking of trying to make one (best out of metal), but would rather buy.
