mecury 800 power trim wont go up

Hi, could some one please tell me why my trim will go down but has no power when try to raise it. Is it the solenoid? and also can it be raised manually so that it can be towed without scraping the road

There is a release knob below the pump reservoir.----Does the trim motor turn when you try to go up ?

I've seen the release knob so will give it a go. The trim motor only turns when down and nothing when going up

Could be that the solenoid is not getting 12 volts for up.----Try a jumper.
