MD2B fuel injection removal?

Hello all!
I am rebuilding an old MD2B, and currently trying to remove the fuel injection pump, but looks like i have trouble doing that. I have removed the 4 screws supposed to hold the pump on the engine, but it wont come out when i pull it from above. I havent used hammer or anything like that yet. Would it be the gasket holding it there tight? or i am missing something else? I am trying to attach pics but seems like there is not working
thank you

It should come off . Try tapping it gently or getting a fox wedge under the flange. Watch you don't lose the ring that goes on the pin in the rack.

Re; your post on Old Marine Engine. Lever F and G are one unit turning on an eccentric shaft. G is acted on by the governor. C acts as a pivot. Astern movement gives more fuel.

( that site wouldn't let me post to it)
