Have struggled with idle on this motor for most of its life. Run additive in gas all the time, rebuilt carb three times this week, new fuel, new fuel lines, new plug. Cannot remove the center needle that runs vertical from the bowl to the throat as the brass screwdriver slot just strips - so flushed with carb cleaner. Motor will run, but dies when throttle nears idle. Can anyone help or suggest previous posts threads that would help? thank you
