Hi All;
May be a bit of a no brainer, but I recently removed my positive battery cable from the solenoid of my early 90's Mariner 40 4 cyl. There were 4 wires connected to the positive post on the solenoid, including the battery wire. I noticed that one of the remaining three wires (red) was connected to nothing at the other end but appears to have half of a fuse holder connected to it. Is this just for auxiliary power? Motors runs fine, and I couldn't find it in any wiring diagrams.
Thanks in advance.
