"Sorry, don't know for 2 reasons - 1st, it's a 4 stroke and they haven't been around long enough that most guys here, who work in home garages, have seen them yet.

Second, it was actually built by Tohatsu (and not to Merc specs), so don't know if they hide a serial somewhere on the engine block or not (if the sticker is gone). Should be a printed plastic sticker on the right hand side (maybe) if you are looking at the front of the engine - may even be hiding under the hood."
