Mariner 75 HP Tilt-trim hydraulic reservoir

I used the serial number from my Mariner 75 and a photo to identify a replacement tilt-trim motor, which was 3-wire. What I received was a 2-wire, but with the same bolt pattern. I made the necessary relay changes, and electrically it works great. But, the hydraulic reservoir attached has somewhat of a square profile, and does not match the o-rings of the round hydraulic pump. It understandably leaks excessively. The new motor was near impossible to tighten down the bolts in the rear (inaccessible). Question... does the entire tilt-trim assembly need to be removed to properly access these bolts, and is there a hydraulic conversion kit to allow the o-ring profiles to match?
