I recently got a new ignition coil for my Mariner 40hp 6e9 and it has been running smooth for the past two weeks at any rpm but in the last few days it has developed a misfire and 1000-2500 rpm's and if I rev it up it seems to go away, will this misfire or loss of power for a milisecond get worse?? Maybe it's the cdi it is 1981 I think so very old
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
