"You never posted my suggestion for clearing clogged water vent.
When my water vent become clogged with debris or trash I use one of those high pressure air cans found in the ace hardware stores, which are used for cleaning your computer.
Insert the air tube up into the clogged hole and give it a blast of air once or twice and that will clear it every time.
