lifting eye

Hi
I have a Question related to lifting eye.
i got a mercury blackmax 175hp and i was wondering if it ok to
lift the whole engine in the lifting eye or only the powerhead.
Can The flywheel be damaged ?

If you're talking about the one that screws into the top of the flywheel, they'll hold the whole assembly. Just be smooth with whatever you use as the lift - I've seen them "jump" off of "open" J-hooks.
