Hello,
i was given a 2003 Mercury 5 hp. My elderly neighbor passed and his family gave to me. He had it serviced every season. It sat in my basement for a few years. Yesterday I took outside, cleaned it up, put in some fuel and it fired up in minutes. A few minutes later I noticed fuel dripping out the bottom. I removed the cover to find fuel leaking from underneath the carburetor.
Would that be from dried up gaskets due to sitting too long?
