"Anyone out there know if this trolling motor was actually made by Motor Guide? It has a Johnson logo, but I have been advised that it is actually made by Motor Guide."

"back in the 80's at a dealership i was at,they were 2 diff animals....if u r in texas,..i have been sending my trolling mtr repair req,to s texas tolling mtr's...they advertize in tex saltwater connection mag.......
but.........if yours is that old....u r much better off getting a new one........"
 
Its a 1997 Johnson trolling mo

Its a 1997 Johnson trolling motor. Works fine. I just wondered if it was made for Johnson by Motor Guide. I am in Phoenix and it came on my 1997 Triton TR21 bass boat with a Johnson 200hp Venom.
