Tested rectifier voltage, I get about 7.8 volts per lead - total output runs at 15.6 and sometimes higher at full rpm. My electronics are only rated to 14.7 Is there an aftermarket rectifier that can regulate voltage too?

search amazon for a dc/dc buck convertor, pick one closest to your desired voltage and amp draw.

found an exact bolt in replacement at CDI electronics PN193-3408, regulated rectifier.
