motor is running great!

"If it truly is a 1979,then any trim unit from 1979-85 will work as long as it fits into the frame.You do need to extract the manual hyd ram and some of the levers.You use the reverse pin to choose the lowest setting.You want to look for a 1979-85 3 cyl frame(or just the trim unit with ram) with a 60-75 hp.You will also need an external Trim solenoid box with the 2 needed relays/fuse holder/wiring .Newer ones have it crammed onto the powerhead ,older ones use it in the boat and have two more battery leads dedicated to trim only.
Later ones use the same as a V-4 but not until 86 or 87.
