Does anyone know where I can purchase the main shaft seal under the impeller? The motor is a 1969 1.5 hp model 1R69C

"From the parts diagrams and lists at SHOP.EVINRUDE.COM Then punched the part number into MarineEngines parts search.

You need to know about those diagrams. Maybe not a substitue for a manual but jolly helpful at times."

I got the seal and installed it this afternoon, it was difficult to get the old one out but I managed.

I will tank test it tomorrow."
