JOHNSON 140 HP

I have a 2004 Johnson 140hp and at full throttle after a couple minutes it cuts out. Motor doesn’t shut off just no power and like you went back to neutral. Just seems like lack of fuel? Any help appreciated!

Try pumping the primer bulb when this happens, if it improves, you've got a fuel delivery problem. Probably the fuel pump not keeping up with increased fuel demand. If that doesn't help, I'd check all filters and replace as needed including the fuel/water searator if you have one. If none of this helps, I'd start looking into ignition issues. Coils, wires, plugs.......
