Johnson 115 1999 rough running on muffs

We call that a "lean sneeze". One of the cylinders isn't getting enough fuel. I saw on your other post that you plan to clean carbs. I'm pretty sure that you're on the right track! You'll need to order carb kits to have all the gaskets you'll need. Be sure to clean and run compressed air through #9 and #15 (jets) and remove all cover plates and clean out and run compressed air through all the passages beneath those cover plates. I've attached a link to a blown up diagram of the carbs. I don't have your model number to make sure this is the right diagram for your motor, but I'm pretty sure it is.

Thank you for the info. I have been putting this off for 2 years. Put 350 hours on it running like this. I will get this done this weeks and see how it runs.
