J60TTLEO Not starting. Believe it’s a spark issue. 120 compression across all three cylinders. Cleaned carbs and confirmed solenoid still working. Seemed like I was getting inconsistent spark. Randomly would spark when holding spark plug against motor. Almost looked like it would spark at the start of key turn and at the end of key turn. Then tried hooking up a spark tester at 7/16” gap and was getting no spark. Tested coils with meter and the ohm reading was within spec. Also cut the black/yellow stripe wire for kill switch and that did nothing, then reconnected it still nothing. Not sure where to look now. Possibly power pack or stator? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Have battery load tested , even if new.----Take starter apart for inspection and ohm check.----No money spent doing these tests.
 
Were you checking for spark with plugs in or out? If it sparks with plugs out, but not in, that is a clue it isn't cranking fast enough. And that would be a clue the stator is bad. OR--as racer hinted, weak starter.
