I am looking for tach for a 2005 merc 75 four stroke on a starcraft pontoon. tach has a 4 pin plug on the back, and the plug in from the wiring harness is very short and tightly interwoven with the rest of the dash wiring, making splicing a near impossibility. I have good 12v, ground, and engine signal so I am pretty sure gauge is no good. it is a faria, and all markings are faded away, so no help there. Anyone know if this plug is merc or starcraft proprietary, or if there is an adapter pigtail to split the wires to use on standard 3 post tachs? The only merc harnesses I have seen are the female 4 pin plug, the same as coming from my factory harness. Any help is appreciated!
