interchangable parts

I'm looking a new set of valves. I can by the separate oem valves from Honda for $30(intake) and $45(exhaust) or I can get an oem set for an Accord that are the exact same part numbers for $175-200 per set. So is there really any difference, they have the exact same specs and part # for both applications. I'm just curious.

If they have the exact same Honda part numbers then they are the exact same Honda parts. Don't ignore any difference though because that could indicate the part is different. It could be something like a "-A".

I use quite a few parts from automotive side that have the same part numbers as the outboards that share an engine.

I used the OEM accord valves and they worked perfectly. They were the same exact numbers and specs were identical. Just in case anyone ever has to replace the head on their 130.
