Impeller stuck on shaft

1990 Johnson 90 hp. Pulled the cover off the water pump. When I pulled the impellor cup the impellor stayed on the drive shaft and I can't seem to budge it. I sprayed a little pb blaster and tried a small amount of heat (didn't want to melt the rubber. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

You should replace the impeller anyway.-----It is likely locked by the drive key.------Wood dowel and a hammer.----Try and rotate the impeller CCW and see if it loosens up.

Or try it both ways.----Or cut the impeller off to install a new one.

Got it. Ended up bumping it both ways and that did it. As always,Thanks for the help .
