Ignition key not starting AQ 151

I turn my key but only hear on

I turn my key but only hear one faint click sound
Battery fully charged. I do get the guages working with key.
I took ground wire off and cleaned where it grounds to boat.
I can start engine if I use a knife blade on starter.
Do I most likely have a bad selonid or something in ignition switch. The boat did set a few months

"Not sure if the AQ151 has it or not but is there a relay attached to the wires going to the starter if so I would change that out first, if that doesn't work more then likely your solenoid is bad but check for voltage at the solenoid before replacing.."

"The AQ151 has a starter relay. Not sure what you were doing with the knife so,Cameron, did you try putting a jumper on the solenoid? The yellow/red wire should connect to the start terminal. If the solenoid engages and rotates the starter motor then the problem is the relay or, less likely, the ignition switch. If you suspect the switch try spraying some WD40 into the keyhole."
