identifying counter rotational lower unit

Hey guys, I bought a lower unit for my 225 ocean pro. It had milky white oil so I pulled the carrier and I have a 2 part prop shaft. The only mention for a 2 part prop shaft in the manual is for counter rotation. Is this correct or do 94 ocean pros have this with a standard rotation lower? Thanks for your knowledge and experience as usual.

Correct, also has C/R stamped on very end of propshaft.

Thanks Rw. I am about to put the seals in and am considering buying the spanner wrench to get 100lbs of torque. It wasn't my funnest disassembly ever, I have to say.

You will also need to buy a C/R prop as STD prop wont work...

That as well as a new thrust flange. Ouch!
