I have bad gas issues

My 2003 Merc 115 efi wont develop power
only one of my plugs is wet

my merc dealer said I have bad gas

I just emptied my main gas tank, the gas is red
where I got the red gas I have no idea (filled it at a normal Petro Canada gas station)

when I emptied my gas/water filter (element) the gas is clear
I guess the gas/water separator has a filter to take out the impurities?

and, the merc dealer said to just pour my tank gas into my truck....
bit scared to do that

any comments?

in the united states some diesel is dyed red to signify it is to be used in off road vehicles and is not taxed...

Hi here's an update
the red gas turned gold over night while in the jars. the gas in the plastic jug hasn't changed color
the clearer of them is gas that went through a water gas separator and the top jar is new gas.
anyone have any idea why the gas be red, why it would change color only in the glass jars?
