Get your cylinder number - nobody's gonna be much help w/o it.

i've never had the hynautic stuff apart. had plenty of seastars. like any hydraulic cylinder, the piston is on the rod and that lives in the cylinder. the 'trick' is removing the endcaps on the cylinder. Some are threaded; some have a retaining ring (look where the fitting threads in). Another alternative is to look up a hydraulic shop in the phone book - that's saved me a few times, especially when berthed in a transient slip."
