Good day , I got a 1988 30 hp Mariner, 2 cylinder one carb, serial number 30 ML 689 L 331200 at which I cracked one of the bottom bolts that hold in the face place/thermostat housing (all one unit) to the rest of my powerhead.
My questions are;
-is there a way to get access to the lowest bolt on the place (I.e. with a screw extractor) which is blocked by the lower cowling without having to actually take the entire power head off?
and/or
-is there a chance that I can loosen the bolts on the lower cowling in order to loosen stuff up so that I can maybe shift the lower cowling in such a way to gain access to that bolt?
Any help her would be greatful by me, thanks guys for your help and great job you're doing.
Best.
