How do I bleed up a tilt trim on a Suzuki DT55?

Complete 2nd hand TT pump replacement,can't get any pump pressure,even if I take all lines off the pump still wont spit fluid,it's making all the whirring noises....is there a trick to it?

Thanks mate....got there by opening man release valve and lifting by hand the engine at least a dozen times.....pausing at the top for ten seconds then lowering.....each movement produced an air burp.... finally pump took over and primed,then it was just a matter of allowing tiny air bubbles to come out during repeat operations to obtain correct level.....Cheers
