Honda Tachometer BF 20 - with pics... help!!?

I am trying to figure out how to wire in my tacho to my new Honda BF 20 outboard.

Motor is 2011 model. Remote steer, manual tilt.

I believe it is a 12 cycle 6 pulse output from the motor.

Couple of pics may help..

The schematic.

I have found the Grey, Black and Blk/Yellow wires in the loom. I am not connecting the backlight (at this stage).

What I cant figure out is where to conect them to the tacho...

Model is a TELEFLEX LIDO 7000 RPM BOAT TACHOMETER GAUGE W/ HOUR METER

Any ideas?

Since it is a Teleflex Gauge....

Setting 2P.

Black to GND
Black/yellow to IGN
Grey to SEND

Cheers. Got it up and running.

All appears to be working fine...

One small difference from the advise I found in this thread http://www.marineengine.com/boat-forum/archive/index.php/t-290603.html "Your 20D takes a tachometer that it capable of a setting of 12 poles or 6 pulses".

I had it set for 6 pulses and it is working fine (not the 2P recommended?).

nzbay is correct. The teleflex chart that I posted is out of date.

As a correction to the teleflex chart.... Here is a generic chart for tach settings for all the Hondas.
