Honda Dual Binnacle out of sync

Does anyone know how to get the port and starboard engine controls to be fairly close to matching at all RPMs. Right now, the starboard lever has to be about an inch forward of the port. At idle, both are in neutral detents just fine. This is a new unit, model#06240-ZW5-U60.

The first thing to check on each, is that the lever that the throttle cable attaches to on the engine, goes all the way against the stop, when the throttles are at full throttle. If not, readjust. If you do not have enough threads on the throttle cable, you may have to remove the shifter and make sure that the throttle cables are turned all the way into the connector at the end of the cable inside the shifter.

The other thing that has a lot to do with the rpm difference could be the difference in the amount that they are trimmed. The one trimmed higher, will have a higher rpm.
