Thank you!It's right there in the depiction. Bottom seal open end goes down.
Upper seal open end goes up.
But it's nothing to really fret about as long as the bottom seal goes open end down.
You're not holding any appreciable pressure with those seals. They're only meant to exclude water from entering the powerhead around the main shaft. If you installed the top one with open end down it would still work fine. I think many people install them that way on purpose.
