Honda 2008 BF90D bearing carrier removal aka prop holder help calling

Needing instruction on how to remove the bearing carrier. Either to remove the lower foot assembly so the shift shaft can be removed first. Or does it pull out while still on the motor? Also does the prop shaft come out with the carrier? Thanks in advance

Removing the lower shift shaft is going to require you to drop the lower unit.



The prop shaft CAN be removed with the bearing carrier - AFTER - the shift shaft is removed.

To replace this part. First need to remove the lower foot. Next remove the shift shaft. Once removed I can slide the prop holder bracket out the front. Then slide the prop shaft out the rear of the prop holder bracket. Does this sound correct? Thanks again Gary
