Hello to all, brand new to this forum so bare with me. I've just purchased an old Chris Craft that has a Chrysler motor in it. The original 6 Cyl Herc was removed and this installed I believe in the early 60's. Information and numbers I have, Chrysler Sea-v Marine, Model 80AR, Serial No. 72511. There is also another number on the tag. It is 2104. All this info appears on tag located on flywheel cover assembly. It has dual Carter carbs and two bolts that hold value covers on. Currently oil has water in it, this will need to be investigated and repaired but would really like some help to identify what I'm starting with. Any help, information or input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ayuh,.... If ya got water in the oil, the block is probably cracked,....

Just start fresh, 'n stuff in a SBChevy,.....

It's likely a 318 "poly" V-8 between '57-'66 years. You should be able to find a
number on it maybe this can help............
