"Does anyone have, or know where I can get a cylinder head gasket for a 1962 Evinrude Fisherman 5.5 hp. I think the model # is 5524R. Also, the old gasket appeared to have sealer(like brush on kind). My dad(who of course knows everything) says someone put it on there and wasn't done at factory. I rebuilt a '79 115 Johnson last year and seem to remember that the older gaskets needed the brush on gasket dressing and the newer ones did not. Thank you, Jonathan Taylor"

That's why this site is so great, found tourque specs and sequence. Thanks for the heads up on the sealer, Joe, upon reading some older posts, it looks like the very old gaskets used a coat of oil.
