what do you guy use for a sealant? or do you use anything?

(Aviation form-a-gasket).. that's what looks like was used on the old one..

Just did a gasket on a 6 horse. The new gaskets have a sealant already sprayed on, it is a shiny looking coating. Keep that dry when you install and wet sand both surfaces with 180 to 280 grit wet or dry good quality paper be sure to use a good block or plate to back your paper.
