Gear shift adjustments plse

Hi everyone need some more help please,have put new impellor in my evinrude 25 (1981 e25rcim) and now having a problem getting it to go into neutral. any idea/suggestions much appreciated thanks
 
When putting the gear case back, you have probably 'missed' getting the screw(s) in the connector in the shift rod slot. Remove the cover on the leg, and check that you may see the ends of both upper and lower shift rod in the middle of the connector. If not, remove the screw(s) and get the rod(s) properly in place.
 
As above.... the common mistake is to have the groove in the shift rods misaligned with the threaded hole in the brass shift connector. Let us know what you find.
 
cheers guys yes i think its not in the brass connector properly am about to check that,have finally got it going again,after having to replace key in flywheel after it shearing off not tightened down enough
