Gear Oil 1975 6hp

I have a 1975 EvinRude 6 HP outboard with no manual. What weight gear oil should I use? I got Type C marine oil and put it in until I can figure this out.

A high viscosity outboard gear oil. Usually around 80w90.
Type C is a lighter oil for electric shifts
