Gauges for a NS50c

Thanks for all the help from this forum I got my trim/ tilt and the gauge fixed without much difficulty. Now I want to concentrate on the other gauges. The pontoon only had a trim/tilt as original instrumentation. I want to add a tach and either ammeter or volt meter which ever is better. These gauges
are NLA so what can I substitute that will work.
 
Assuming you have alternator, I would use a modern alternator tach as all recent outboards do. Voltmeter is easier to install than ammeter.
 
Paul thanks for the help. I wasn't sure if I could connect a modern tach to this older engine without much trouble. I have a Red (switched), Black, White (tach signal), and Yelloe ( tach ground) available at my console. Not completely sure on the pulse setting but the instructions that will come with the tach should clear that up. Thanks again.
