Just replace both motors pechanga has a two into one and a 5-in through exhaust with PVC 180 s to keep the water from coming back into the engine problem is every time I stop at a beach or go to fire the motor up I get gas residue coming out of both exhaust floating on the water.
I left the restrictor plates off on the intake manifold gaskets which I will fix but I'm wondering if somehow gas is getting through there into the exhaust and out the back any help would be appreciated

The restrictor plates keep heat from carb.
Has nithing to do with gas. Its dead air space which heats up as engine heats up.

If you have carbs then i would suspect choke is closing to much when engines are shut off causing excess fuel on start up or float hieght incorrect allowing excess fuel to siphon when engine is shut off...

One side effect of carbs is raw fuel making its way out exhaust on start up...not sure it isnt normal to some degree.
