well i got my mortor running a

well i got my mortor running and kept going a couple of minutes then shut off would not start again could not build up pressure on the priming pump is that suppose to be soft after it runs i pump it and could not get it to get hard like the first time whats a good way to test fuel pump 1990 90hp force

"Roberto, if you can't pump the bulb up hard again, you may be leaking fuel from somewhere.

With the motor "off" remove the hood on the motor, pump the bulb and see if gas is coming from anyhwere. If it is coming from the front of the carb (or carbs), you have a stuck float (which could have flooded the engine). Since your engine has been sitting a fair bit over the years, this would be a fairly common issue.

If one of the lines is leaking, replace it (obviously)...."
