" Rob.... If the gas is stale, there would be no guess work in knowing that fact. Stale gas has a odor all its own that would make the fiercest skunk head for the hills.

If the gas smell okay and doesn't have that foul stale odor, if it were me.... I'd simply use it. What little gas that might have evaporated wouldn't hurt anything. It would just contain a little more oil than usual. "
