Fuel Pump for XP 100

I know I need a fuel pump repair. My question is what is the best way for me to go. Rebuild fuel pump on the already bypassed VRO unit or go with the 0438556 - Fuel Pump (for 88) ?

Go with the pump for the 88 hp model.------The spot to mount it is already on the intake near the starter.-----Need to remove a plug and mount it with gasket and two 10-24 screws.-----Then rearrange the hoses.
