So I currently own a skeeter zx150 with a Mariner mag 3 150. And unlike newer bass boats with 2 30 gallon tanks my zx only has 1 20 gallon tank. My Mariner is a great running motor but an absolute dog on fuel. I’m thinking about buying a 2004 mercury optimax 150. Does anybody have an idea if making this switch is gonna be worth it fuel milage wise or would I be wasting my time? Thanks!
