Force 120 Tilt System

I have a 120 Hp force outboard with twin hydraulic rams and pump system for the tilt. When I raise the motor, it looses pressure and goes back down on it's own. There is a single threaded plug on the side of the motor. Is this where you would fill the oil for the Pump? How do you know when it is full and or is there another reason the motor won't stay in the tilted position?

The cap on the resivoir is for filling.If it leaks all the way down then the pump needs to be rebuilt.Look on the net for rebuild places.
Read the post here on any trim/tilt issue.There is a guy calls himself Ritt??? He's got lots of answers for those type repairs.J
