Hi Guys, 2014 25HP Tohatsu 2 stroke. This was used by a Surf Lifesaving Club in Australia. It has been sitting (with no carby or plugs on it) in a sandy, salty garage for the last 2 years). We have replaced plugs, new carby and now it starts (not easily 10-15 pulls). There is quite a loud metallic whirring(?) noise when running. Seems to be most evident at the flywheel? Here is a video of it running yesterday. Hoping anyone can suggest potential cause and/or next troubleshooting step. Restoration project with my sons. Video of it running here
