On a Chevy 305 V8 with mallory
On a Chevy 305 V8 with mallory point ignition
The BB engine has its Nr. 1 wire at position 12:30 (seen from back to front) but on the SB engine (problem engine)the Nr.1 wire is different position on the cap (more on the opposite site of the cap)!!!??
The firing order for L&R are both as in the manual but the position of the Nr.1 Wire is NOT.
Is this supposed to be??
Can the position of the shaft be wrong or have the wires simply a wrong starting point on the cap???
Engine runs OK on idle but dies above 1400RPM
Can anyone help me out?
