Had to get towed in recently as I could not start the 40hp Mariner.
Numerous turns of the ignition key for no start.
All leads to the battery were good. Battery fully charged.
Waggled the control levers, back to neutral, still no power. Only power trim up/down from the engine mounted switch.
Back on land, took the boat home & turned the key.
Yep, she started. Still kicks over first start atm.
Should I replace the switch in the control box or risk getting towed in again.
