I have a Johnson 1984 50hp. The engine leaks water and exhaust from the midsection (see picture). I am wondering if there is a leak from the exhaust housing, perhaps a need to change the gasket (0351019)? The engine runs really well, so no worries there. Just want to make sure I don't have trouble on the horizon.
Also, I get this "gunk" around the engine, under the cowling. Wondering if that is also exhaust, or what it could be? Could it be that the other gasket (0351018) from the housing is also leaking? Or is it all unrelated?
