Evinrude broken the fast idle lever

I have a 1964 Evinrude 75hp o

I have a 1964 Evinrude 75hp outboard. I have broken the fast idle lever on the side of the forward/reverse shifter. Can this be replaced?

You will have to open up the box to do this.

I assumed that the

I assumed that the control box that you have is a later version, because the control box that would have come with the engine had no fast idle lever.

If this is true you should have no trouble finding a new lever.
