my motor has had

"Hi there.
my motor has had the i.d plate sanded bare & the i.d plug on the motor removed!? i have managed to work out it is a 1975 Evinrude. i noticed that they made 4 different 50hp models that year.50542B 50543B 50572B 50573B ...what is the difference in these 4 models?

"There were two different shaft lengths that year, the standard shaft length and the long shaft length, also there was one model with a metallic water pump housing, and one with the plastic water pump housing.

Other than this, I see no difference between the four models in the book."
